Laika trade fairs & Covid-19

Following the recent emergency-related to the Covid-19 and in accordance with the Erwin Hymer Group’s guidelines, Laika has cancelled its participation in all trade fairs planned for 2020.

We have always tried to give our customers and business partners a corner of Dolce Vita, where they can get to know our vehicles in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, in full respect of Laika’s values.

The health risks of Covid-19 pandemic have fundamentally change the initial situation for participation in trade fairs this year. The health of our customers, employees and trading partners is our top priority and we cannot take this responsibility lightly. In the Corona crisis, with its special requirements for distance and hygiene, an informal atmosphere of information advice and purchase, is no longer possible.

We regard this as a fundamental prerequisite for a successful trade fair. For this reason, Laika will not participate in the trade fairs planned for 2020. This decision also concerns the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf, which should take place at the beginning of September, and the Camper Show in Parma in mid-September.

Although Laika is not taking part in this year’s fairs, it is more active than ever, with lots of new products on site and closer and closer to its customers.
