New Kosmo L 105: an innovative, compact, elegant layout

A new, compact model that further extends the rich portfolio of the Kosmo range, renewed to the state of the art during the last season.

The Kosmo L 105 offers a one-of-a-kind layout with no equals on the market, designed to maximise living space and accommodate up to four people when travelling and parked. Just 599 cm long and fitted on Ducato 35L, the Kosmo L 105 is the perfect combination of compact external dimensions, comparable to those of a Camper Van, and the accommodation offered by a low-profile model designed as a mini home on wheels.

The interiors, in the elegant and contemporary “Stone Grey & Forest Green” style as throughout the Kosmo range, are developed according to a multifunctional space concept to make the most of all areas and offer maximum comfort at all times on board.

In the daytime configuration, the open-plan space in the rear is characterised by a large horseshoe-shaped rear living area, ideal for spending long evenings with friends as it is able to accommodate up to 6 or 7 people on board when parked, thanks to the larger-sized folding table.

There is no lack of daylight and ventilation on board the Kosmo L 105: the layout includes no fewer than three panoramic windows, two roof skylights and a maxi skyview integrated into the cab top, also aided by a full LED system providing direct and indirect lighting throughout the vehicle.

The elegant, functional L-shaped kitchen block is located in front of the entrance and offers a generous worktop, ample and well-organised storage space, a 140-litre refrigerator and the possibility of also installing a gas oven (opt.).

The Kosmo L 105’s on-board spaces have been carefully designed down to the tiniest detail, including in the driving cab, which can quickly be transformed into a secondary living room thanks to swivel seats and the fold-down console. An extra space that can become a laptop workspace, a reading nook or simply a comfortable breakfast table.

On the road, the Kosmo L 105 offers four type-approved seats. In addition to the cab, two passengers can also be seated in the panoramic rear lounge, with the sofa offering headrests and three-point seat belts.

One of the novelties appearing for the first time on the Kosmo L 105 is the new Vario bathroom (which will also feature on the Kosmo L 319 and Kosmo H 1319): completely revised in style, the new Vario bathroom makes the most of the available space to optimise comfort, practicality and ergonomics of use in every situation.

A large circular washbasin and toilet with swivelling bowl, scratch- and water-resistant Fenix top, a single-lever tap and large mirrored surfaces: the new bathroom offers everything needed for users to continue their routine on-board. The ventilation and lighting are also excellent thanks to the large skylight (40×40 cm) with transparent dome.

Ideal use is made of the space inside the bathroom: the three cabinets provide offer the room required to store all personal effects and get the day off to an excellent start. And it is easy to create a spacious shower cubicle by rotating the washbasin wall, with the shower area separated from the rest of the bathroom by its rigid side panel.

Various sleeping area configurations are offered. The electrically operated rear elevating twin beds are generously sized (up to 205 cm long) and, when lowered, replicate the comfort and style of the Kosmo L 319 or L 409 bedrooms. On these models, as on the Kosmo L 105, the elevating twin beds can be joined together. The sliding slatted base with an additional cushion creates a generous maxi double bed (205/190×200 cm) that can be used either lengthwise or crosswise.

Operation of the electric system of the elevating twin beds also provides access to a second bedroom: the U-shaped living room can easily be converted into a second extra-large double bed (192×175 cm), bringing the number of available beds to four.

Storage space on board is enhanced by the double floor, with two hatches and two drawers, and the wardrobe. The full-height wardrobe features two clothes racks (upper and lower), equipped with vertical LED lighting, to provide plenty of space and enable easy storage of every garment. What’s more, the rear through-door locker, accessed via two symmetrical side doors, is ideal for stowing sports and camping equipment.
