What's new in the Kreos L 5009 Mercedes-Benz

Presented on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 417d 170 hp mechanics, the new chassis is a high-performance, reliable base with an optimised structure to accommodate the iconic layout of the Kreos L 5009. The interior space is unchanged, and the driver’s cab has been expanded.

The Kreos L 5009 on Mercedes-Benz has an exterior design optimised for the new chassis ideal for the robust stylishness of the Kreos L 5009.

The innovations in the vehicle mainly concern the basic mechanics and some details in the cab, as well as optimisations in the exterior design.

The new Kreos L 5009 MB is based on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 417d mechanics with a 170 hp common-rail turbo diesel engine, 9G-Tronic automatic transmission and electric parking brake guaranteeing a safe and smooth ride for everyone on board.

The cab is packed with additional comforts, including Tempmatic semi-automatic air conditioning and the MBUX multimedia system with integration for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The swivelling and adjustable MB Comfort cab seats, leather steering wheel and pleated blinds complete the discreet and elegant ambience. All the other features of the L 5009 Fiat model are retained.

The vehicle floor is now extended into the cabin for better heat distribution throughout. A heat diffusion zone at the foot of the front seats with a two-speed fan booster for extra comfort. The same solution was adopted for the cab top for pleasantly uniform A/C distribution.

Exterior design updates include front door moulding with cab and living compartment integration, fitting perfectly with the new chassis and giving the vehicle a modern and attractive look, perfectly in turn with the classic Laika aesthetic.
