Built on Iveco 70 C mechanics with rear-wheel drive (standard), delivering 180 hp and with a total length of 8.29 metres, the Kreos 8012 combines elegance and superior technical quality. Self-levelling rear air suspension (Iveco original equipment) and automatic transmission (also standard) make for a unique driving experience that is sure to satisfy even customers who demand only the best from their motorhome.
Outstanding comfort in the driving cab, courtesy of the standard passenger door (a Laika exclusive) with double lock and electrically-operated retractable access steps (also standard) on both sides to make climbing in and out of the cab easier for driver and passenger alike. The VIP living pod features an extra-large door made from fine materials and with the Laika Welcome Home system for deploying the entrance step and activating of exterior and interior lights by remote control, comfort is guaranteed.
The Kreos 8012 roomy interiors and premium materials are enhanced by multi-level indirect lighting (over the overhead lockers, under the units along the walls and on the floor) which creates a pleasant ambience in the various environments of the vehicle. Like on the Kreos 8009 the lights can be dimmed and their tone – warmer or cooler – can be selected using a remote control in the 8012 too. Furthermore, lighting can be adjusted independently in the day and night areas.
The living area with plush "L”-shaped seats and height-adjustable headrests is remarkably comfortable. In addition, the table can be moved by 360° in all directions to make the most of space according to needs. The ample living area allows the best motorhome enjoyment, courtesy of a step-free floor entirely on one level stretching from the cab to the rear bedroom and a large skylight (96x65 cm) for natural lighting.
The kitchen is practical and elegant with superior quality, large, scratch-proof and smudge-proof Corian worktop. Cooking in the Kreos 8000 is particularly enjoyable also thanks to the gas oven and the practical double sink. The capacious 160-litre refrigerator can be used to store everything you need to prepare tasty meals for family and friends. As in the other Kreos motorhomes, a "Grand Chef" kitchen with built-in oven, grill and microwave (the latter optional) can be chosen.
In the Kreos 8012, the sleeping area is extremely comfortable with a large 205x160 cm double bed with wooden slats, extra-large thick "Wellness" mattress and courtesy night light under the bed. The sliding door at the foot of the bed ensures maximum privacy, and the adjustable reading lights on all the beds allow users to take full advantage of the sleeping area also to enjoy a good evening read. The excellent storage capacity is provided by four wardrobes and by a maxi-garage in the double floor. Heated and lit, it can be accessed from the outside from both sides and from the inside through trapdoors. The Kreos 8012 is also equipped with a removable fabric and eco-leather folding cupboard.
Like the Kreos 8009, the toilet on the Kreos 8012 has a window and a transparent skylight (both standard). A large porcelain washbasin with soft-touch finish makes it elegant and sophisticated. The maxi shower with white and blue LED lighting, includes two shelves allowing it to be used as a closet, a clotheshorse rod and a wooden platform.
A Kreos 8000 is the ideal travel mate even in the coldest weather. Tested in the cold chamber with excellent results, both models are equipped with a standard water heating system, with many heating points even under the seats of the cab. The water system is protected from freezing and the two floors are insulated and covered with fibreglass on three sides which means travelling in chilly winter months is problem-free. The roof has a fibreglass coating to protect it from hail. Excellent insulation of walls, roofs and floors is also ensured by the extensive use of extruded polystyrene foam (XPS).
On both Kreos 8012 and 8009, the large, low-floor garage, covered in washable ABS with water drain, has 12V, 230V and TV sockets, LED lighting, fixing bars and a clothes stand with rings.
