Built on Fiat Ducato 130 HP chassis, the Kosmo F510 has an approved capacity of five (the sixth is optional) and four sleeps (the fifth is optional). With a total length of 725 cm and an internal height of 209.5 cm, there is plenty of room and comfort for everyone.
The two windows in the overcab area, a trademark feature of Laika coachbuilt models, together with ergonomic layout are the latest interpretations of a timeless design which is modern and classic at the same time created for journeys in the company of family and friends. The interior design that characterises the entire Kosmo range is expressed in the care for details designed to maximise comfort. The overcab area externally coated in ABS, is wide and comfortable, with a 211x159 cm bed with wooden slats and two USB ports. A porthole and two front windows make it airy. In the dinette with plush cushions and height-adjustable headrests, the table can be extended to 140 cm (optional) to seat two extra guests (optional) by exploiting two foldable panels equipped with cushion. With this layout, no fewer than six people can lunch or dine in style. It is the ideal solution for large families or for entertaining friends. The search for design solutions that maximise comfort is also expressed in the supplementary kitchen worktop (standard) to cleverly exploit all the available room for cooking.
As on the rest of the range, light plays an important role inside the vehicle. Indirect multi-level lighting in the living, kitchen and bedroom areas, over and under the cabinets, creates a pleasant ambiance conductive to relaxing and daily activities in all areas of the motorhome. Furthermore, there are five standard USB ports so that everyone can recharge their devices. Access to the living space is facilitated by the XXL door which is remarkably 70 cm wide with two locks, fixed window, blackout protections, fly screen and elegant interior trim. The inside step makes getting and out easier. The ample garage has two tailgates (standard) and TV socket so you can enjoy your favourite TV programmes out in the open on warm summer evenings.
Insulation is guaranteed by a polyurethane wall and roof frame and fibreglass lining on the roof and under the floor. In addition, winter camping fans will find an array of interesting optional equipment to choose from, such as the underfloor heating in central passage area.
The Kosmo F510 can also fit the Kosmo Comfort Pack, which includes a series of optional extras for safety and driving.
It was 55 years ago when Giambattista Moscardini created one of the brands most loved by motorhome enthusiasts back in 1964. Laika will be celebrating this important milestone with the Ecovip 310 55th Anniversary.
The Kosmo 2009 marks the return of Mercedes to the Laika collection. Built on a Mercedes Sprinter 311 CDI chassis with rear-wheel drive and a total length of 699 cm, the Kosmo 2009 pairs the proverbial Laika style with the power of Mercedes technology.
