Two interesting new Laika accessories confirm Laika’s interest in developing new solutions in the field of insulation and comfort: The following accessories have been specifically developed for use in winter and in cold climates: the NORTH POLE CAB/LIVING AREA SEPARATION CURTAIN and a HEATED CARPETING.
The “North Pole” separation curtain - available as an option for all Laika low-profiles and coachbuilts – separates the cab from the living area. It is made of two different layers of fabric enclosing a third foam layer with highly insulating features. The generous length of the curtain, which reaches down to the vehicle’s floor, provides complete insulation and guarantees a constant and comfortable temperature in the living area, thus avoiding that any cold air from the cab can penetrate into the living quarter. The lower part of the curtain next to the floor is made of a specific anti-dirt material and is therefore extremely practical and easy to clean.
The heated carpeting, which can be ordered as an option for all Laika vehicles both for the cab and the living area, combines again functionality with practical features. This new and exclusive special accessory, which offers a comfortable warmth during the cold winter months, is made of two separate items: a normal carpet and a heated under-carpet panel. The great advantage of this combination is that you can always easily clean the carpeting.
Another exclusive LAIKA accessory makes your LAIKA vehicle even more attractive. In all Laika low-profiles and coachbuilts on Fiat chassis (Kreos low-profiles, Ecovip and X ranges) you can install the exclusive Laika LED daytime running lights, named „Laika Lux Prestige“. They provide a special touch of elegance and distinction and they can also be installed as an after-market accessory (that is, even after registration of the vehicle).
Moreover Laika customers have the possibility to adapt the interior equipment of their motorhome to their specific requirements and to the changing number of their guests on board. Those who prefer a large living area, may profit from the Superliving Lounge versions – available on some Laika models – which guarantee extra space for a large number of friends. In some Laika-vehicles the „Siesta-Time System” offers extraordinary comfort thanks to a particular moving mechanism under the settee: the inclination of your backrest can be adjusted so as to allow a customised and relaxing seating comfort.

That is why Laika, after extensive studies on new materials; has decided to use the extraordinary comfortable „Memory Foam“ material. The Memory Foam was developed by the NASA for use in space. The mixing of different padding materials and their variable density allows an excellent seating comfort.
