Laika, the true italian class, is back to Finland
LAIKA ASUNTOAUTOT - HIENOSTUNUTTA ITALIALAISTA LAATUA - SAAPUU SUOMEEN

Laika is opening a new market. Starting January 2010, LAIKA will be present on Finnish land thanks to a cooperation with the Finnish dealer Max Caravan. The LAIKA dealer network is increasing not only in Finland but in the whole Scandinavian region. In November and December the number of LAIKA dealers in Norway and in Sweden has more than doubled.
Materials, equipment and building technologies used by Laika for the vehicles destined to the Scandinavian markets are the same as those used for standard Laika vehicles which are exported to other countries. The fact that Scandinavian dealers judge Laika’s standard technical equipment and insulation level as correct for their colder climates, confirms the suitability of Laika motorcaravans for winter use. LAIKA uses exclusively high-density Styrofoam as an insulating material, which bears special high-performance insulating characteristics. Tests made in a cold chamber have shown extremely positive results on the whole conversion.
The water system, which is always in an anti-freeze position, is a determining part of the Laika project. Laika develops its motorhomes so that water tanks (both fresh and waste water tanks) and the relevant piping are heated. All LAIKA motorhomes are therefore well equipped in order to face cold Scandinavian temperatures.
At present, Scandinavian customers seem to privilege the LAIKA prestigious A-class, Rexosline, which combine interesting ergonomy principles with high-level Italian design. Also the Laika Kreos low-profile range is much appreciated; and the “Super Kreos” 5001 SL coachbuilt as well as the new low-profile vehicles of the X range.
Laika would like to welcome Max Caravan to the Laika family and wish them a great success with LAIKA products.
