The history of Laika began in 1964, the year in which the company was established. These were the years of the conquests of space and discovery of the unknown.
The founder, Giovambattista Moscardini, was fascinated by these adventures that were opening new horizons. This is why the company was given the name of the first dog launched into space and its logo is the red greyhound with wings.
1964 was also the year of the first caravan model, the little "500". It was so small in size that it could be towed by a Fiat 500. Laika produced the first motorhome in 1977. We’ve come a long way since then…
